What we could not find
10 gapsA gap is not a fact. It means we looked and found no source.
- The text and number of the April 2018 forest notice barring motorcycles from the Sandakphu road were not found; it is known only from a blog and a travel site.
- No official West Bengal Forest Department page found for Singalila entry rules, fees or closure dates.
- Darjeeling Police health advisory for Sandakphu returned an access error (HTTP 403) and was not read.
- No source found stating whether Indian or foreign citizens need any permit for Darjeeling and Kalimpong towns.
- Usual number of days for the whole Siliguri, Darjeeling, Kalimpong loop not sourced; the figure given covers only the Sandakphu leg.
- Highway number for the Kalimpong leg not sourced beyond National Highway 10 along the Teesta.
- Entry fee amounts come only from a blog and are left out.
- No year-by-year opening or closing dates found for the Sandakphu road.
- Videos not collected.
- Some stretch distances are doubtful. The open map may not know the road riders use, so the routing service went the long way round.
